Comprehensive evaluations will be conducted to determine what is in the best interest of the children involved in the case.  Pertinent records will be reviewed, and multiple interviews will be conducted to determine what arrangement is best for the children in terms of how they share time with each caregiver, and how important medical, educational, and other decisions should be made for the children. The procedures of the evaluation are designed to fairly assess all parties and to make valid, unbiased recommendations to the court.  Careful attention is paid to assessing for a history of domestic violence, caregiver impairment, and other factors that may impact custody arrangements.
